  • A deserted treasury - 100 Wood and 50 Steel will be spent.
  • There are three sub-types of this option:
  • Explore it safely - This option usually costs resources, but will guarantee that your scouts retrieve the relic.
  • When your scouts arrive at a dreadnought, they will have one of three options: There are typically three relics per storm cycle. Still very difficult keeping people alive towards the end.Relics can be found after the first storm cycle in Endless mode by scouting Buried Dreadnoughts. Slight change in priorities kept me afloat. Spoiler vid again:Ī little easier the 2nd time through. Still very difficult keeping people alive towards the end. Anything but what you need them to do.Ī little easier the 2nd time through. I had unassigned people, but they were off having a wank or some damn thing. It wandered off and started building a bunkhouse, because reasons. For a real poke in the eye, when I built my first atomaton, I desperately needed it to start working the steelworks. Doesn't matter if I have people assigned to stuff or not, they just cbf'd. Need to house people or build X building by some deadline? Yeah forget that, workers won't build. Need people to eat? 100+ rations just sit there uneaten, nobody will eat. Also for seemingly no reason on this scenario, whenever I have a deadline, the workers simply refuse to do what needs to be done to fulfil it. I had to stop playing because the 'x number of people died!' bell was starting to tilt me so badly.

Despite everyone being housed, everyone being warm, everyone just gets sick and seemingly stays sick. Got up to get ready for bed 'a little while' later and realised it was a little after 3amįirst attempt at the refugees hasn't gone so well. Worst part about any of this is that at around midnight I decided to grab a glass of water and I'd finish up 'in a little bit'. After that I was able to immediately set up an outpost and start receiving the juicy juicy steamcores.

I went in last night and just got a message about how it was scary until they figured out how to turn off the lightening. Seems it's a dice roll as to whether you lose your scouting team at tesla city too. I got my steamcore outpost up this time as well. I'm now pretty much just focusing on upgrading tech, stockpiling stores and getting all the scouting done. Giving them the break also completely eliminated all discontent too, at least a quarter of a bar gone instantly. Thankfully by that point I had foreman unlocked and was easily able to keep up with production, and I had a butt load of stores anyway. At a certain point I wasn't able to ignore it though, it was either send in the guards or give them 3 days on standard shifts to 'rest'. Take a discontent hit every time you ignore it. Something I didn't see in my last playthrough was a rather insistent popup saying that people have been working long hours and need a break. I've only got 8 londoners left and they won't last much longer either.

By day 25 though, hope bar is full and there's no discontent, fully recovered from the arrival of that jerk from winterhome who ruins everything. I'm finding it even easier than faith, although it did take a little longer to reach a 'comfortable' stage with hope/discontent. Started my 2nd run through last night, nazi path this time.
